CW happy to take on Wonder Woman

CW President Mark Pedowitz, when asked about the possibility of Wonder Woman appearing in CW’s DC Comics universe, he revealed –

If she is and we can get the right script we will do it, one of the nice things is that a lot of the other broadcasters and cable networks have done comic book characters based on the success of Arrow. So for our purposes, it is a rich source material, we know what the…

If this is DC Comics’ movie lineup, as is rumored, it’s insane.
• May 2016 – Batman v Superman
• July 2016 – Shazam
• Xmas 2016 – Sandman
• May 2017 – Justice League
• July 2017 – Wonder Woman
• Xmas 2017 – Flash and Green Lantern team-up
• May 2018 – Man Of Steel 2
Definitely making up for the gap between DC movies prior to Man of Steel, if this really is the case. We’ll know more next month.

Gail Simone is on a tear on twitter this morning.

I said some stuff.

Once you get her going it’s hard for her to stop. We’re with her on this one, Goyer’s a jerk.

DC Comics and Warner Bros. have confirmed that a Justice League movie will be coming right after Batman vs. Superman. Could’ve fooled us, since the whole League looks like it’ll be in B vs S.

It’s official, Batman vs. Superman will feature Cyborg when it hits theaters in 2016. Plus Wonder Woman. Plus probably Green Lantern.
Let’s just call it Justice League and get it over with, OK?

Do you like Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman? If you don’t, TOO BAD, you’re getting her for three movies.

Batman vs. Superman Delayed to May 6, 2016

If you were looking forward to seeing DC clash with Marvel at the box office in 2015, think again. Warner Bros. has confirmed that the Man of Steel sequel - starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck as Batman, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman - has been delayed due to an injury suffered by Affleck.

Well, that sucks.

So it seems Lex Luthor is going to become the new leader of the Justice League.
Yeah, we just said that.

Denzel Washington Rumored for Green Lantern in Superman/Batman Movie

OK, first of all, let’s just start calling it Justice League and get it over with, OK? We’ve got Wonder Woman confirmed, and the Flash rumored, and now there are reports that Denzel Washington is being considered to play John Stewart, otherwise known as the minority Green Lantern that doesn’t tick off intolerant folks as much.

Take this rumor with a grain of salt. That being said, what do you think?

Trailer for Justice League War: The New 52 Arrives in the DCAU

The new 52 started with the Justice League just meeting each other for the first time and teaming up to save the world against Darkseid. The upcoming Justice League War animated movie is based on the first arc of Geoff Johns and Jim Lee’s rejittering of the JL. As was seen in stills Wonder Woman once again gets a new costume without a bustier. I quite like it. I could still do without her sword play.

LOL, casually blocks omega beam.

We’re not really feeling Wonder Woman’s new outfit.
