Dark Horse is releases in 4-issue Ghostbusters comic book series taking place between the events of the Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire films. Marvel Comics has announced a What If?… limited comic series featuring Venom. Instead of the symbiote bonding with Eddie Brock, Venom bonds with various other Marvel characters - She-Hulk, Wolverine, Doctor Strange, Loki, and Moon Knight.

DC Comics has announced the official return on the Elseworlds line of comics. Elseworlds comics are out-of-continuity stories featuring DC’s characters. To celebrate, DC also announced upcoming Elseworlds titles - Gotham by Gaslight: The Kryptonian Age, Batman the Barbarian,Green Lantern: Dark, Batman: Nightfire, and sequels to Dark Knights of Steel and DC vs. Vampires.
Dredge: The Pale Reach is the first expansion for the cosmic horror fishing game Dredge. The expansion will open a new icy frontier for explorers. You can retrace the steps of the last crew to venture into the frozen area and unearth their story. The expansion will also introduce 11 new fish and crab species (and their counterparts), an additional Fish Type, and an item that will extend the freshness of your catches.
Team 17 and Black Salt Games’ Dredge: The Pale Reach launches for PlayStation 4/5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Gog.com on November 16, 2023.
DC Comics’ “Dawn of DC” initiative will include a 3-part “The Joker Year One” storyline in the pages of Batman. The storyline hails from writer Chip Zdarsky and artists Giuseppe Camuncoli, Stefano Nesi, Andrea Sorrentino, Alejandro Sánchez, and Dave Stewart.
According to DC Comics, “In part one, the tragic “death” of the leader of the Red Hood Gang in a vat of chemicals has become the subject of myth…but what is the heartbreaking and gruesome tale of the monster who walked away from that violent birth?” The 3-part story will show the re-forming of the Red Hood Gang as well as a “mysterious figure from Batman’s past” that will change the Joker “forever.” (DC Comics)
Each issue of “The Joker Year One” storyline will also feature a story that shows the impact The Joker will have on Batman.
Part One of “The Joker Year One” begins in Batman #142, on sale on February 6, 2024. Part Two takes place in Batman #143, on sale February 13, 2024, and Part Three concludes the story arc in Batman #144, on sale February 20, 2024.
After the events of “The Joker Year One,” Batman will begin the 4-part “Dark Prisons” storyline.
