Season one of Good Omens was based on the novel by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. Season two picks up where the first season left off and will explore storylines beyond that of Gaiman and Pratchett’s novel. “Having been on Earth since The Beginning, and with the Apocalypse thwarted, Aziraphale and Crowley are getting back to easy living amongst mortals in London’s Soho when an unexpected messenger presents a surprising mystery.” (Amazon Studios) Turns out the archangel Gabriel is on Earth with no clue how he got there.


Good Omens season 2 stars David Tennant (Crowley), Michael Sheen (Aziraphale), Miranda Richardson (Shax), Nina Sosanya (Nina), Maggie Service (Maggie), Shelley Conn (Beelzebub), Doon Mackichan (Michael), Quelin Sepulveda (Muriel), Liz Carr (Saraquael), Gloria Obianyo (Uriel), and John Hamm (Gabriel). Neil Gaiman and Mark Buckingham to Complete “Miracleman: The Silver Age Saga”

The Miracleman news just keeps coming in celebration on the 40th anniversary of the character’s modern era. Miracleman: The Silver Age Saga, from Neil Gaiman and Mark Buckingham, is returning after 30 years on hiatus. The first two published issues will be remastered and include new artwork and bonus material, and then Gaiman and Buckingham will complete the storyline. The series follows the previously announced Miarcleman by Gaiman & Buckingham Book 1: The Golden Age.


“Young Miracleman — the lost member of the Miracleman Family — is back! His last memories were of a 1963 world of joy and innocence. Now, he’s been thrust into the 21st century, where his best friends have become gods and monsters. Where can a hero from a simpler time call home in this brave new world?”

Miracleman’s 40th Anniversary Celebrated with “Miracleman #0″

The modern era of Marvel Comics’ Miracleman is celebrating 40 years. To celebrate Marvel Comics has announced a special one-shot comic. Miracleman #0 will feature stories from writers Neil Gaiman, Jason Aaron, Mike Carey, Ty Templeton, and more. Art for the special comic hails from Mark Buckingham, Ryan Stegman, Ty Templeton, and more. The one-shot will also include a prelude from Gaiman and Buckingham for their upcoming Miracleman comic.

Marvel Comics Celebrates Spider-Man’s 60th Anniversary with “Amazing Fantasy #1000″

This year is Spider-Man’s 60th anniversary and Marvel Comics has been rolling out quite a few celebrations. This August Marvel Comics will release Amazing Fantasy #1000, a giant-sized one-shot anthology that “explores the past and future of Amazing Spider-Man storytelling in tales that leave a profound impact on the Spider-Man mythos and showcase why Spidey is one of the most beloved heroes in history.” (Marvel Comics)


Amazing Fantasy #1000 will feature stories from Neil Gaiman, Armando Iannucci, Jonathan Hickman, Dan Slott, Ho Che Anderson, Kurt Busiek, Anthony Falcone, Rainbow Rowell, and more and art by Jim Cheung, Olivier Coipel, Michael Cho, Terry Dodson, and more. “Dead Boy Detectives” Coming to HBO Max

HBO Max has greenlit an 8-episode horror detective series Dead Boy Detectives. The characters first appeared in 1991′s The Sandman #25 by Neil Gaiman and Matt Wagner. Dead Boy Detectives is developed by Steve Yockey, Doom Patrol’s Jeremy Carver, Berlanti Productions, and Warner Bros. Television. Yockey will serve as showrunner and wrote the pilot episode.


Dead Boy Detectives follows Edwin Payne and Charles Roland, two deceased British teens, and their very much not dead friend Crystal Palace. The series stars George Rexstrew as Edwin, Jayden Revri as Charles, and Kassius Nelson as Crystal. They are joined by Briana Cuoco (Jenny the Butcher), Ruth Connell (Night Nurse), Yuyu Kitamura (Niko), and Jenn Lyon (Esther).

Scott Caldwell (Mrs. Dunwiddy), Joy Richardson (Mrs. Bustamonte), and Lachele Carl (Miss Noles).


Anansi Boys follows timid Londoner Charles Nancy. Charles finds out that his father, Mr. Nancy, has died. Charles then discovers that Mr. Nancy is in fact the trickster spider god Anansi. Also, Charles’ heretofore unknown brother Spider is about to make Charles’ life very interesting. CCH Pounder, Jason Watkins, Fiona Shaw, L. Scott Caldwell, Joy Richardson, and Lachele Carl have joined the cast of Amazon’s Anansi Boys, based on the novel by Neil Gaiman.
